Welcome to Oviedo Movers. By accessing or using our website, services, and products, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. These terms and conditions govern your use of our services, and it is important to read them thoroughly before proceeding. If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using our website or services.

1. Agreement to Terms

By using the services of Oviedo Movers, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions, which constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the “Customer”) and Oviedo Movers (the “Company”). These terms apply to all services provided by Oviedo Movers, including but not limited to moving, storage, packing, and other related services.

2. Services Provided

Oviedo Movers offers a variety of services including:

  • Local Moving: Moving within a specific local area.
  • Long-Distance Moving: Moving between locations that are not within the same local area or state.
  • Commercial Moving: Relocation services for businesses, including office moves and equipment transport.
  • Residential Moving: Moving household belongings to a new location.
  • Moving and Storage: Storage services for household or business items before, during, or after your move.

The services provided may vary based on location, scope of work, and availability. Specific services will be outlined in a separate contract or agreement for each customer.

3. Booking and Payment

  • Booking: To book a moving service with Oviedo Movers, you must provide accurate information regarding the date, time, location, and items to be moved. Bookings can be made via phone, email, or our website.
  • Payment: Payment for services is due according to the terms outlined in the service contract. Accepted payment methods include credit/debit cards, bank transfers, or any other method specified at the time of booking. Any deposit or prepayment requirements will be outlined in the booking process.
  • Pricing: The prices for services depend on the type of move, distance, and any special services requested. A detailed estimate will be provided to the customer before services are rendered. Additional charges may apply for extra services, such as packing or storage, and will be agreed upon in advance.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Cancellations: If you need to cancel or reschedule your move, you must notify Oviedo Movers at least 48 hours before the scheduled move. Cancellations made within 24 hours may result in a cancellation fee, which will be specified in your booking agreement.
  • Rescheduling: If you need to reschedule your move, please contact us as soon as possible. Rescheduling fees may apply depending on availability and timing.

5. Customer Responsibilities

  • Access: The customer is responsible for providing clear access to the moving site, including ensuring that the premises are ready for moving (e.g., parking for moving trucks, cleared hallways, etc.). Failure to do so may result in additional charges or delays.
  • Items to be Moved: The customer is responsible for ensuring that all items to be moved are safe, properly packed, and suitable for transport. Oviedo Movers is not responsible for items that are improperly packed, hazardous, or illegal to transport.
  • Packing: If the customer chooses not to use Oviedo Movers’ packing services, they are solely responsible for properly packing their items before the scheduled move.

6. Company Responsibilities

  • Professionalism: Oviedo Movers will provide professional moving services with experienced movers and the appropriate equipment for the job. We will make every effort to transport your belongings safely and securely.
  • Liability: Oviedo Movers is not liable for any damages to items that are improperly packed, stored, or that were not disclosed during the booking process. Our liability is limited to the replacement or repair of damaged items under the conditions outlined in our insurance policy.

7. Insurance and Liability

  • Basic Coverage: Oviedo Movers provides basic liability coverage for damages that occur during the move. This coverage is limited and does not include coverage for damages to certain high-value items or improperly packed goods.
  • Additional Insurance: For higher-value items, additional insurance may be available for purchase. It is the customer’s responsibility to arrange for additional insurance if desired.
  • Exclusions: Oviedo Movers is not liable for damage or loss of items caused by circumstances beyond our control, including weather, natural disasters, or accidents. Items such as cash, jewelry, personal documents, or valuable items should not be included in the move unless additional coverage is purchased.

8. Prohibited Items

Oviedo Movers cannot and will not transport certain items, including but not limited to:

  • Hazardous materials
  • Flammable substances (e.g., gasoline, chemicals)
  • Live plants or animals
  • Perishable food
  • Money, securities, or personal documents
  • Illegal items or anything prohibited by local, state, or federal law

It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that prohibited items are not included in the move. Failure to do so may result in the refusal of service and additional charges.

9. Delays and Force Majeure

Oviedo Movers is not responsible for delays caused by unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, accidents, severe weather, or other force majeure events. If such events occur, Oviedo Movers will make reasonable efforts to inform the customer and adjust the moving schedule accordingly.

10. Damage Claims

In the event that damage occurs during the move, Oviedo Movers requires that any claims for damage be reported within 7 days of the move. Claims will be assessed and handled according to our insurance policy. If you experience damage to your belongings during the move, please contact us as soon as possible to begin the claims process.

11. Modifications to Terms

Oviedo Movers reserves the right to modify or update these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website or notification to you. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically to stay informed of any changes.

12. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Florida, United States. Any disputes or claims arising from these terms will be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts located in Florida, as applicable.
